Worth Dying For

Worth Dying For

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Worth Dying For

with the raising

of the hand,

then balling tightly

those tiny fingers,

now make a stand...

and claim rightfully

what's worth dying for

every word you choose seems so carefully chosen....what you say in your poems couldn't be said any better

This reminds me of that famous picture of the in utero baby clasping the doctors hand as he was doing surgery to save his life. The picture had great impact on me, as do your words.

So much said in so little words. What an impact!
