Finding Peacefulness

Finding Peacefulness

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Finding Peacefulness

fixed upon the night skies,

and staring deeply into space,

nothing is more peaceful, than

sitting quietly with only the Almight

left listening to the cries of a haunted mind

Staring into space.. and feeling peacefulness of the universe..is an insight that most people can relate to...
as your words give the subtle impression of gazing into the unknown.. the great abyss.. and that consuming

effect of feeling eternity thats sweeps over the looker..knowing that there is a world beyond everyday
surroundings...limitless in its possibilities to inspire thoughts, heart and souls..the forward focus lends well

in convincing.. at the same time drawing thoughts to delving ponder..in ways that encourage..I find myself
wondering what secrets the stars hold reading such images...nicely done, I enjoyed reading this-thanks

Wow, that was beautiful. I can relate to this because I often stare into the sky and get lost in thought for a long time....this poem is the type that lingers on your mind. Nice job. =)

Sometimes just "being" is the most peaceful thing. I really like this! The haunted mind line is perfect :)
