Dirt is Dirt (Life is Life)

Dirt is Dirt (Life is Life)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Dirt is Dirt (Life is Life)

down within the dirt, and

claiming it as some lost kin,

do those forgotten memories

ever find resurfacing, somehow...

or are we forced to merely

make up our own minds about

the way things used to be

This looks like one of my greatest problems, putting the past behind me.

It's a shame we keep focusing on bad memories and sometimes continue to put the blame on others when we make our own choices. I keep remembering events that happened 20 years ago and can't shake the pain out of my heart. Wish there was a way~
