The Unseen (What Remains)

The Unseen (What Remains)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

The Unseen (What Remains)

listen sweetly,

as life is fleeting,

and it's leaving surely,

as a stream flies away...

will we learn to live,

before we meet the grave

it all remains, to be unseen

Everyone should learn to stop and smell the roses along life's pathway.
However, in this fast paced world we are now living in, It's easier said than done.
And that's truly sad. that we can't enjoy this life as it's the only one we have ( earthly that is ) and we have such a short time to enjoy it.

I've often wondered why it is, that we don't take time to just enjoy life, knowing we are here only a short while. Instead we run around in a hectic pace, tiring ourselves out, piling stress upon stress doing senseless things. Building only for the next generation to tear it down and replace it with what they want, and the cycle just keeps repeating itself. It's a crazy life we live when one really gets to thinking about it, but then again it could just be me.

Great poem to ponder James

Yes! this poem depicts perfectly the fleetingness of life as we blow it. I don't think a moment is wasted James, everything we say, think and do, is part of our journey. Great work, smiling at you, Tai
