Breeze of Days (Too Tough)

Breeze of Days (Too Tough)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Breeze of Days (Too Tough)

flying through,

the breeze of days,

but still, we'd wish

for something so much

more easier...

because the hard things,

that'd surely make us tougher, are

now only causing our frightful callouses

Awesome!!! :D
I liked the truth...we always come up against hardships and want life to be easier, even though it is said that we will grow stronger for having lived through the pain. But at some point you look at your physical self and inner self and realise that slogging it through the crap, we come off worse- sometimes numbed.
Fav lines:
"because the hard things,
that'd surely make us tougher, are
now only causing our frightful callouses"
Fantastic as always mate

Great words of wisdom, my friend. For it IS true that what does not kill us makes uis stronger, but we need to have a balance in our lives to feed the gentler side. For what good is a suit of armor, if there is no warm beating heart to guide it's path. Nicely thought out, Sir.

Why does life have to be sooo tough sometimes! I guess because trials teach us lessons, even those callouses!

For every scar on my body, there is a lesson behind each one!

I enjoyed this poem, which is wrote in simplistic terms yet has such a deep meaning behind it! Way to go!
