Heaven Hearted

although, her

home life

was always

a shambles...

she knew

something better

awaited her

in heaven

This is sad and uplifting at the same time...sad in that the person portrayed does not seek a better path in life- in the now....but uplifting in her faith that there is a heaven.
Very beautiful and complex!

Don't we all think of that day? So many people are in heart breaking situations, but those old trials have a way of strengthening us. So few words and yet hits a nerve. Great job. I think it is harder to write a poem in as few a words as you do, and I admire that ability. Can be so much more impactful! You-go!

Ahhhhh! This is so refreshing and lovely. This is the first poem I've ever printed out that will be a great reminder to me of the hope we have. I wish all could have the same hope. This is a truly gorgeous poem! I'm saving to favorites as well!
