Take Me Home

Take Me Home

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Take Me Home

walking around,

I'm so lost, within

thoughts bluest...

as if tomorrow

offers nothing

and my song

has grown sorrowful,

but, along these lines

my heart's truest;

now, take me home

5-17-08

what I got out of this resonates true in everything I do. It's like you see in my head with this poem! I constantly find that during my weakest and most purple moments, I am at my best artistically, but there is only so far I can wander down that path before I need to bring myself back.

Wow, this is very sad. Written with an innocent like voice that has a sense of resignation. Well written and it the feeling you convey comes through crystal clear.

awwwe I loved this one, it's sad but promising at the end.. It can almost be lyrics to a song,, you might want to play with this poem and see what you come up with! lol,, just my thought!!
