Forever Night

Forever Night

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Forever Night

with the saddest sensations

weighing heavily upon them,

they knew, the news, might

only bring more stinging tears...

and still their son lay listless,

within an unawakinging night

james-this writing speaks in many
directions and leaves the reader
pondering the heartfelt meaning
more news-more tears-
sounds like the son has passed away
skillfully rendered

The last line was perfect for the vivid sadness of the poem. A so true statement yet with a profound, not turning back emotion. Great write.
