Midnight Kiss

Midnight Kiss

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Midnight Kiss

"come for
a visit

or merely
a drink?"

settled I
wonder what

it is
you need

at such
a very
late hour...

then too
soon all

comes into
understanding,

as I'm
summoned

onward
with a

sweetly
        gentle

               kiss

wow nice going with the use of enjambment! as always you worked it very well!
I loved the imagery, soft and passionate at the same time...I'm a sucker for romance and you satisfied me lol I melted into the moment!

james.. this writing can project itself
in many directions.. made me think of
the sensuous ways a woman can intoxicate
a man with passion.. even a bit vampiric
the night holds many secrects kind of way
Really nicely done.. impressive work
