Kindred Song (Singing Out)

Kindred Song (Singing Out)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Kindred Song (Singing Out)

how might I grow

beyond this sad shell;

I hope to someday

gain something better,

by way of singing out

my timid heart...

then seeing features smile

towards the sound

of a pleasing vocal;

as it flows through

the night-life-gathered...

so hungry they are

for a kindred song

"A kindred song" well, you certainly have provided that in this piece and the song here is very pleasing to the ear. Great job on this.
