Dire Consequences

Dire Consequences

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Dire Consequences

take the bite,

it is merely some

tame fruit...

with dire consequences

Another great thought to ponder. You know I have always wondered where and when the apple came into play as being the forbidden fruit. If it were an apple that was the forbidden fruit would we be allowed to eat it freely now? Just my mind messing with me again. Sometimes a thought gets stuck in my brain and drives me crazy trying to find an answer to something that has no answer.
Great write
Love it

Nice allusion here.
Take the bite
take the bite
take the bite!

The tame invitation with the truth being revealed a moment after the bite, like woops did I forget to mention that?

this is a statement, but surely
not all tame fruit has dire...

and maybe
is it merely some (or 'is this..')
tame fruit
with dire... ..?

and pose a question instead (?)
...after all, we never know whether the apple will kill us...
