OMG James, Short but powerful alright. I am sorry you lost so much. Yes, one's writings are very near and dear to the heart. It is a great loss. This piece packs a strong punch and is perfectly executed, my friend!!!
They are in little bytes and pieces floating through the infinate space of the computer world. They proably sail by their home every once in awhile are whisked away before they are able to stop.
So sorry for your loss, i was lucky I had only just joined and lost 2 poems, that felt bad enough but I learnt a lesson too...... BACK UP your work, I have a file on my computer where I keep my work. I don't think you need to feel shameful, it was a big shock to find everything gone overnight. I like this poem short and to the point.
AMEN! :) This is going on my profile. This is really fun, even though "The Great Delete" was NOT. :S I can definitely relate, because I didn't know quite how many poems and other works I didn't have saved anywhere else. Once again, A GREAT MASTERPIECE!

I'm so sorry for your shame, but none needed. It was a shock to all. It doesn't seem like anything is bringing them back. I'm so sorry for your huge loss. I wish they could find them somewhere.
There are Martians loving your poetry out there right now probably! Those lucky creatures !!!!!
It's hard to bring words your way that will truly comfort.
Your poem is lovely.
