Swaying in the Wind (Die Another Day)

Swaying in the Wind (Die Another Day)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Swaying in the Wind (Die Another Day)

with a heart

so full of blood,

you'd think life did

exist right here, within...

but sometimes we

merely breathe, just

to die another day;

a swaying in the wind

That's interesting...
with a heart

so full of blood,

(I'm saying blood and noting how it's hard to say it without a hard 'D' sound)

you'd think life did - in view of the above i'm reading: you'd think life'd
-
as in EITHER You would think life would or did?

Here's why I like you reference to swaying in the wind - it's like you're saying we are all at the mercy of the elements - in this case the elements of life (?)
hope you don'y think my comment intrusive...

How very true. We fight so hard to live but every day , every breath we take brings us closer to death.

We breathe to live, and live to breath.

So odd but so true.
Food for thought.
