Free Lunch

Free Lunch

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Free Lunch

I owe you big time,

for your input,

on which bet to make;

how does a free lunch sound...?

Hmm, inter..esting,
...as there's no such thing as a 'free lunch'...
...or is there?

Good - a good tip would create a free lunch....
very good, as I'm now convinced that the idea of 'no free lunch' applies only to business...
and yet... I'm so entrenched in my thinking that I still come back to thinking...
'there's no such thing as a free lunch'
the power of this lies in its simplicity!
I would query the semi-colon - but certainly not the pause before the question mark!
effective,
and good on yur to have the balls to submit it as a poem I say!
