Goin' Aimlessly (Prayin' For Tomorrow)

Goin' Aimlessly (Prayin' For Tomorrow)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Goin' Aimlessly (Prayin' For Tomorrow)

wanderin' aimless,

all down these

dusty roads...

bein' blinded by

strong winds,

and,

chokin' rightly herein

sandy-blazin'-tortures;

where will we

find a new day,

to claim as our own...

let's pray it won't be long

the portrait imagery is effective, takes the reader to the moment of happening, transporting,
this is a pondering work of perspctive meant to draw encouragement, as one could feel
the subtle angst of future scoping, the imaginative wording adds the right ammount of detail,
thus accentuating the emotional design, and that being expressional hope for a new day, excellent.

That day will come my friend . The Bible says that God will step in before man destroys himself. ao it can't be much longer because man is getting so close to doing just that.

Great write.
