My Shoulder

My Shoulder

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

My Shoulder

with a

kind flicker,

I'd wipe

away, that

free flowing

salty liquid...

and instead

offer this,

my warmest

shoulder

beautifully conveyed here, to offer the shoulder of hope, to be the one to lean on on times of neeed, this work of heart shows many perspectives that can be gained from reading such a splendid messege, there is a sense of endeartment that entwines the imagery, as well as the timeless caring expressed, one can walk away with a feeling of encouragement after reading this, captures your talent well, as well

Beautiful. You know I'm really happy I found Writers Cafe because not alot of people where I live understand or get what I write and it's good to come here and find others and read there pieces and relate to them as I do my own work. That being said. Good work.

We all need a shoulder to cry on, don't we? I loved the simplicity of this poem. No frills, no complicated language. Simply beautiful. You did an great job with this, keep it up!
