For Shame (A Lovers Letdown)

For Shame (A Lovers Letdown)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

For Shame (A Lovers Letdown)

proclaim your love,

then walk on out

those heavy doors...

and pray, that someday

you won't have to come home

to some lovers letdown, for shame

Everything that is every said or done in this lifetime comes back to teach a lesson on one's decision and behaviors towards others it is reflected back to learn and grow even when its very painful. I enjoyed your poem James and hope your foot heals fast without too much pain, Shelly

geez.... it's strange how pieces cross your path at times in your life that mirror the words written... Great piece! I always enjoyed your power punch packed poems! (say that 5 times fast.. haha)
