Soaring Pains

Soaring Pains

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Soaring Pains

weak and wasting,

this life is merely taking

everything away everyday...

and we go down in flames,

with nothing more than soaring pains

Yes, from the day of birth we start our process of dying, and everyday life just takes us one step closer to death.

Profound and thought provoking

I agree with Bubo, this is powerful and I can relate to it because I live and I learn and such is life it seems.

I've missed your writing, James. It is good to be here again. :+)

What great imagary in a short piece, that life can be a soaring pain, taking from us all
weak and wasting.........very powerful words......and one I feel is very true.
