Lonely Looker

Lonely Looker

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Lonely Looker

she lies out on her belly, down upon the green
staring straight into her grasped reading...
and looking fine as a flower,

he is locked-up in his busy working office
glued into his lazy leather chair and wishing,
he could only step outside

for his heart yearns to meet her
and his mind is so hungry to taste those
reading lips,

sadly she has never looked at his window,
and knows not of his lonely existence
