Drug In, Drug Out

Drug In, Drug Out

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Drug In, Drug Out

dancing with
the devil,

toying in

the bone-
yard,

ooze your
veins full

now open
the flood-
gates,

of momentary
forget

to only
then awake

moments
later

tempt
the reaper,

another day...

now this is dark, overshadowing, really reminds me of a cemetary's mystique, vampires, and things that go bump in the night, in a way of gothic city night druggies, people who lurk the alley way looking for highs, visual, crafty mystique which defines the passionate feeling enveloping the meaning, that has a way of playing upon the readers that as your words are written with specific effect, heartfully panoramic, imaginative, conceptualized, very nice.
