A poem about acceptance.

Here I am world

I'm stumbling through life like a fool.

I'm looking for acceptance,

But I'm as blind as a bat.

I wish... Someone got it.

I wish that someone could understand.

But they can't.

Why must I be judged for being different?

Why must I be cast out for being eccentric?

I am not the same as you.

I do not want to be the same as you.

You are narrow minded scum.

If you do not understand me,

you leave me behind,

Like a piece of garbage.

I am not garbage.

I am tired of walking this path.

I am tired of following in your oppressive shadow.

I will create my own way.

And ANYONE who may share my sentiments,

Don't tread along behind the rest of this uncaring world.
