The Facade of the Moon's LightA Poem by JoshuaCmngsThis is a poem about moonlight.I’ve seen the lie in the face of the moon; Where cross eyed lovers from fairytale lands come to meet. They bathe in the glow of moonlight together, And share their sentiments. They promise of things such as love, And happiness. But their promises are like the moon’s light, Just stolen rays from the sun’s glory. They are nothing but pale imitations Of what could have been, Of what could be. And so here I sit, Away from all of those gallivanting together, Just me and the moon. I hate the moon. It has a side that it shows to no one. But the moon keeps me safe, It keeps me from overstepping my bounds in life Because its rays, stolen from the sun, Remind me of the glory I can never have. © 2017 JoshuaCmngsAuthor's Note

I have a very strange personality (even I don't understand myself sometimes) and I do not really know what I am doi.. more..Writing
