Butterfly In a HurricaneA Poem by JoshuaCmngsA story of determination.I am but a simple butterfly My wings are light and thin, It’s time for me to fly away, I’ll never come back again. The obstacle before me, Is a mighty hurricane, I fly straight to the center, My efforts are in vain. I’m just a humble butterfly, Floating on the wind I have to get past this hurricane, For my journey to begin. An obstacle so domineering, It’s making my head spin. But I will fight for victory, I know in my heart I’ll win. As I charge headlong, Into the full strength of this beast, Im blown all over, every way, North, south, west, and east. I fight on still, I’m going strong, My fury is released. I’m getting through this hurricane, To beyond, where there is peace. With scornfull cries, my comerades asked. “How can you win, you are so small.” They all just gave up and died, While I give it my all. Size doesn’t matter, It’s my will, you see. The strength of my determination, Will give me victory. My body bent and broken, My opponent looming above, I will beat this hurricane, Despite how hard it shoves. Airplanes fall around me, With eagles hawks and doves, I’m tougher than all else in the sky, I’ll show them what I’m made of. For three days straight I fought that wind, I finally pushed through, The taste of victory so sweet, I’m feeling quite good too. I just showed the entire world, What a butterfly can do, Now my time has come to die, And the cycle will begin anew.

I have a very strange personality (even I don't understand myself sometimes) and I do not really know what I am doi.. more..Writing
