Miracles

Miracles

A Poem by JoshuaCmngs
"

A miracle indeed.

"

When I look into your eyes,

My heart stops.

My mind goes eternally blank,

Dark,

A complete void with the echoes of thought and emotion that is long past.

The smile on your face is like a rift of eternally blinding light,

A crack in the universe flooding happiness into our bleak world.

You possess the kindness of a saint,

And the Illustrious beauty of a shining galaxy.

You say you cannot perform miracles,

That is laughable, because your very existence is a miracle.

To think that there is someone as wonderfull as you is in this world,

It soothes my soul.

Of course I wouldn’t let anyone take you out of this world,

Of course I stepped in front of that knife.

I wasn’t even worthy of existing in this world with you anyways.

It wasn’t the knife that killed me.

It was the fact that I was responsible for your sadness that caused me to die.
