Closed minds

Sorry i'm not so sure what to label this piece. It's a cross of a true story and almost a poem. Thank you regardless for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated :).

A canary stuck in a vultures cage.

Nemo lost in the big blue ocean.

Tarzan being outcast by his fellow ape.

All of these examples represent an open minded individual living in a closed minded world.

The canary must keep quiet as to not be noticed by the vultures.

In the closed minded world I feel as lost as little nemo in the sea.

And though I am one of them. I am not. Split in a tortured state of mind. Wanting to adhere too who I should be in the eyes of the closed minded.

Also wanting to run, cry , scream and one day hope to forget all I've endured.

For this there is one cure it is honor and patience. Let time bring you to the paradise you deserve.

After all the pain and anguish even someone as sin-stained as I am moving towards salvation.

It waits for me... somewhere in this world it remembers me. Calling my name ever so gently.

Let time bring you closer my fair canary.

Your flame shall not be extiguished. Your story will go on.

Before you even know it the chapter will come and it's title shall read...
