She's Just A Girl

She's Just A Girl

A Poem by Alicia

Toss her around like a puppet.
Just add a few more stings.
You'll make it up to her later,
but for now she's playing your game.
Mark an X across her chest.
It's time to play surgery.
It's ok if you make a mistake...
She'll love you anyways.
Go ahead. Make her cry.
You love her, right?
Hold her hand, lead her on.
She's just a girl. No feelings lost.
You know shes confused,
but why even bother?
That doesn't matter, as long as you have her.
She said she was happy
as long as you were.
There's no need to return the favor.
Keep a hold of the strings, sew on a smile.
No one will ever notice the difference.
No one will ever know what you did.
You're reaching the point of first degree murder,
stealing her heart away.
It doesn't matter that you took advantage of her...
She'll love you anyways.
