Guilty conscience
It's eating me alive
Sometimes I wonder how I thought we would survive
I hurt you and you haven't the slightest clue 
That for a few days I was cheating on you
I waited so long to have another chance
And once i got it, it became like a sad song and dance
Of all the possibilities I knew you had
I never would have thought that it would be me instead
I was never the type to do this to you
And now i wonder if our love was ever true
I can't look at your face, or even hear your name
Because my heart always gives me a sharp pain
I wish I could tell you what I've done
Or even identify what I've become 
Though I've moved on, I still have one thing left to say
And that's I'm truly sorry and I hope you'll forgive me one day.
