Her Endeavor

Her Endeavor

A Poem by Sarah

The weight of the world,
Only of it were to of been for told-
That she would have to bare such times,
That at such a young age,
Not for the reason of attention,
But to stop these voices in her head.
The ones that say jump,Swallow,
To trudge a razor across skin so frail,
But those thoughts,
Repressed against walls,
Fighting to hold them up,
But the damn is over the edge,
Raw emotions trickle down,
Is it time to just jump,
Swallow the handful,
Tread deeper to fleash,
How could she know,
life could be better,
The worst of luck,
Death already surrounds ever present,
What does she do now jump In and join
Or take the brutal daily beating longer,
For this endeavor never ends....

Death as seen by many as a way to end frustration and pain. Never thinking of the pain created by one's loss in doing the action. What's faced often is given to make you stronger although some don't see it.
Just remember in writing there is always someone at your side. Great poem, keep up the great work.
