Something Different

you may not know this but there is something different,

something different about me,

some different about the one you love,

i am not exactly sure of what it is,

but i am different,

can you see it?

i am in need of the courage that you bring to me,

i need to know that i’m not insane,

i need to figure this mystery out inside,

I’m not the same open minded girl i once was,

i’m no longer the happy all the time person who can keep their act together,

i wanted to figure out this problem,

my friends look at me with hatred eyes,

you may not realize it but you look at me as though i am a stranger,

why is it that you can’t help me?

has this problem pushed you so far away,

that i can no longer meet your hearts desires anymore,

have i totally ruined the bond we share?

this is my fault and you deserve way more,

leaving me alone to fix my life would be acceptable,

i would understand,

my problems are not yours,

just in case things go for the worst,

i would hope to see you in a better point in life,

this is really beautifully expressed....the pain and sense of isolation in your words is overwhelming. Very honest emotions...it's sad when the people we're banking on are the ones that let us down.
