expectation

expectation

A Poem by H

"
Trapped by expectations,
standards,
fear of doing something out of place,
stuck in society,
searching for the key,
but it's long lost,
lost in the dead sea.

Struggling to breathe,
confined,
driven into a desolate room,
with just enough food,
sheep in a corner,
gobbling it up,
hiding from slaughter.

this is beautiful I love the theme of society's isolation. I really like it and I think there should be a little more because it is really good. I know that you can't create a stanza to a poem like magic, I just think that it would be absolutely perfect if it had another stanza. it is really beautiful.
