The Harlot At The Taft

The Harlot At The Taft

A Poem by Orlando G Gonzales III
"

From the collection "Al Front: Saldado Instrúyete vol.2”

"
Tonight
she might decline a john’s kisses
and assemble the remaining women
reciting (on queue)
“we too refuse to amuse
the last of these tantalizing ‘Gibson’ girls”
as long as the ballroom
continues to smell of iodine
and the gentlemen of (that which she misses) …
… undiluted wine
