Adale (Stephen's Priorities)

From the collection "Saldado Instrúyete"

His priorities may linger

to prevent sentiment derived from the evolved precedent …

… my loss

and two more months of redemption simulating theatre

secured as a place I need not reside

as I honor my latest review

of the life last presented as

“a presense too appealing for other men”

His priorities,

partially founded in pain

nearly made me out to be the enemy …

… an enemy ceding what couldn’t simply be (my dearest memory) …

… so, an enemy I’ll be,

running to initiate curtsies from the other girls

reminiscent of what was once considered to be

“remarkably me”
