Leaving to adhere to

than witness the decision to aleve crying tonight

by thinking I might reply

“I’m merely a reason you’d fall in love again”,

you will

(ceding confidence as conceit

as the tragedy of another man’s patience)

incite prayer to deter idolatry observed from your side of the bed.
