Ruth III of III (Finale)

Ruth III of III (Finale)

A Poem by Orlando G Gonzales III
"

From the collection "Saldado Instrúyete"

"

Until the yearning burdens,

I’ll try,

if breathing “hide tonight” defines your pleas to stay,

to endure another day without appearing alone …

… without you to rely on,

to deny I’m the reason i fail to appear appeased

whispering

“deny,

despite the failures overcome,

that a similar kiss could distract me”

preceding

“because … I love you”

It makes me think its maybe about a forbidden love. Almost as if one of them is cheating on their spouse and their lover falls for them. I like it a lot. Few words making many details. Perfect!

This has the feel of an secret affair. "until the yearning burdens,
i'll try,
if breathing "hide tonight" defines your pleas to stay,"

These lines led me to that conclusion, along with the rest of the poem.

I really liked this
Well done
