Me'n'You Vs the World

found a poem i started writing ages ago, fixed it up and voila! can't remember why i started writing it, or when though

I'm crying because it hurts

But I'm still trying to smile,

To stay strong for you, for me.

I've been trying to hold on.

But the walls are closing in

And we're running out of time.

We can't see the end of this

Madness rampaging around.

There's no light in the distance,

At the end of life's tunnel.

Fate has determined our course.

The allies we had are gone.

So we'll hold on to our hope,

Our love and to each other,

And we'll pray that in the end

We'll still have one another.
