A short poem about the pains that come with love

People always say

'The world needs more love'

But isn't love sometimes painful?

So do we really want more pains in our lives

and more pain in the world?

The pain of broken hearts

The pain of lost loves

The pain of unwanted love

The pain of confusion

The pain of not knowing

The pain of hidden feelings

The pain of secrets

The pain of sharing the truth

The pain of not seeing someone

The pain of unreturned calls

The pain of them not showing up

The pain of the other

The pain of love

Ah...I love this piece. It perfectly executes the idea of pain in love. Such pain can be brought from coldness of love. Sometimes, we go into love hoping for the best. We come out full of pain and sadness. That's when we truly regret it. Then again, sometimes it was pain that made you love it. Missing one another, until you meet again. Waiting for the moments coming. Lovely poem here! Really enjoyed it.

I think unrequited love hurts more, but this poem is so... True! I like how it's structured - you don't have to deal with confusing sentences and how you just get right into the meaty stuff. I like it. ^_^ Very deep and thoughtful. Good job. :)
