SEARCHING FOR A CURE

 

I sent a balloon toward Heaven today,

And watched it float out of sight.

I hope You read the note inside

And understand my plight.

 

I’ve sent a thousand prayers Your way;

My friends have sent some too.

There’s a little girl down here Lord,

Who needs some help from You.

 

The doctors are doing all they know

To beat this dread disease;

So I’ve sent You a special note

And ask You read it please.

 

She’s not the only child it’s true

Who suffers from this fate.

My note request a miracle,

We pray it’s not too late.

 

It’s not just for her I ask,

It’s for all the kids for sure.

“Guide the hand of those who keep

Searching for a cure”.
