A jewel in the heart of noon

A jewel in the heart of noon

A Poem by Tumi

*A Jewel in the heart of noon*
*(free verse)*

The bright orange sun
Glares lustful eyes down the horizon
In a flash my gaze lingers on a celestial treat.

Beams of light arise, a contrast
To her amazing grace.
Beholding a smooth flesh like
Muds beneath her tender feet

She flexes her long arms, like branches
At seashore
The touch of her gentle palm
Fondles my chin.
My heart shiver while I behold,
A mind so pure
Gently I dance to her soulful rhythm

Young arms like root
Of petals sown at summer,
Enticed by the gentle venom in her kiss.
Hums of her soft soprano voice,
A constant hiss
The birds chirp, flapping wings
At the gentle hush of noise released

Singing a song for the c***s to hear.
With wide Mississippi eyes
My heart slowly stirs,
Like distant gales howling in fierce sighs.

Those pleasing arms, oh I long to feel
Cream her temperate skin,
And caress your silky hairs too.

I reposed, laying my gentle eyes
On the prevailing stream
The scent of waves replies.
In urgent sighs, she began uncovering,
My senses fell on her gentle grinning eyes.

The soft salty water caress her skin
As she washed, lust howl
My sight lingers on her treasure unique,
On my skin desire bestows

Flat belly, smoothened waist,
like strawberries enjoying the joys
in summer haze.
Bound by the spell of her eyes
Enticed by the harshness of her beauty’s embrace

Your rosy lips, a honeyed taste
From natures well,
It soft savory scent, my tongue can resist.
My heart melts by the enchantment
Of your binding spell.

Beneath your veins, a golden glow,
A treasure rare, unmatched, and bright,
Your priceless crest, no jewel could show,
A radiance born of heaven’s light.

Your sacred chest, where beaming pearls gleam
Dances with ease, bare to my dream
The winds whisper chills, lust creepy stealth
Your beauty like
Magnet shines far and near

A sculpture of divine hands,
Perfected by eternal grace.
I praise thy beauty that never dies nor fades.
Though jealous fate lies in wait-
To cover thy flesh with
With warm sun dust, and lay your beauty
To eternal rest.

I really like "muds beneath her tender feet" and just love the personification so cleverly done here.

Such a vivid exploration into admiration, passion, and the fleeting nature of beauty. The imagery is sensual and describes a world in which nature imitates the feelings of the poet.
I like how you personify nature "The bright orange sun / Glares lustful eyes down the horizon"— heavenly and earthy things merge perfectly with the object of adoration.
This is captivating Tumi thank you for sharing!

Thanks for that
This seems epic in its imagery of feminine beauty and flows so well. It is classical in form coming to rest only in death. Most lovely
