Journey of Love

On the winding road of love, we tread softly,
Down the path, though howling winds shake the trees.
Our gentle feet tremble, but we shake off shortly.

Every bolt and storm against our love freeze

Like lakes below autumn’s chilling haze;
The jolts of affection my heart shall release.

Even while we lock as one in our lovely grace,
Catching the rhythms and blues in ecstasy,
Your eyes charm mine, entwined in your melodic gaze.

The moon tries to cast its spell jealously,
But we stick as one, even in its haunting shades;
Time creeps beneath our very eyes, cautiously.

Our love is a breath that never ceases nor fades,
A soul intertwined until death's sickle claims our breath.
If God so pleases, grants our lives, our souls shall live 'til the end day
