How Much I Love Thee

Shall I love thee as countless diamonds shine,

A thousand times brighter in the evening's design?

Or as a child craves its mother's gentle breast,

Where warmth and comfort forever find their nest?

Or shall my love be wild, like Everest's thrill,

Unpredictable, yet breathtaking still?

As rich as King Solomon's mine, so deep and true,

A treasure trove of devotion, forever shining through.

Sweeter than honey's golden, dripping streams,

Your touch ignites a flame that beams.

I'll love thee gravely, with every fiber strong,

Fighting for our love, righting every wrong.

You are my heartbeat, my life's very breath,

My joy, my beauty, my soul's depth.

All my days on earth, I'll cherish and adore,

Till my last breath, and beyond, forevermore.

If fate allows, in the afterlife, I'll plead,

To love thee still, where love and souls proceed.

Use of metaphors works well. Good work. Loved it

This is a real poet who is truly in love and will fight for his feelings. I loved how each part of the poem was interpreted with deep metaphors. It is absolutely beautiful. Whoever makes you feel these things deserves to know that. perfect
