A StarA Poem by TumiloveA STAR My mind well opened As I watched with gloom The night was so cold As the cool breeze blew I saw the grin When I look up to the sky I saw the smile As I looked up to the moon I saw a star Its glitters were like diamonds I found a star Her eyes are like almonds I found a gem With a beauty so rare As precious, a pearl But what can I compare? The scent of the rose Was as fresh as dawn The smile in my nose As I sniffed on and on The scent a tad To the beauty of your skin Its fairness a bit As little as a thing I found the sea as crystal as clear As calm as a dove But rage is near With crumbles and mumbles That strikes my heart But I chose to watch, In a twinkle or flash The heat that followed Were like a furnace that burns The coolness, a brunch Like an ice or more But its fairness a tad To your beauty my queen I went to the north, But I found no soul I searched the east The nooks and holes I found no one With a eyes as charming I found no soul With a smile as lovely In Your tongues were like honey I ought to lick In your lips a taste I found too sweet Your voice like gods Your tongue, oh God Your words like sword That pins my throat It touches my soul When you spoke a bit My love for you Is like a bird that flee My love so true Like a mine that shines My love for you Like an ember Shining through the beauty of the tired night My love forever © 2024 TumiAuthor's Note
