HOW MUCH SHALL I LOVE THEE

 

How much shall I love thee?

Shall I love thee as much

 as a thousand times

the glitters of diamonds in the sky

 

Shall I love thee as fully

As a child’s crave for its mother’s breast

Or be unruly

Like the funny feeling

While lying on Everest

 

Shall I love you as richly

As king Solomon’s mine

As precious

Then the loveliest gem

Hidden deep where none can fathom

 

Shall I love you as sweetly

As the sweetest treats

Your flesh could be sweeter

Than the honeys’ sweets

 

Shall I love the as gravely

To fight for your life

Shall I love you as bravely

My life for your life

 

You are the pounds of my heart

The breath of my life

The joy of my birth

The beauty of my life

I shall love thee

All my days on earth

Till I breathe my last

And if you shall let me

I shall beg to love you

In my after life

I love you my dear
