A Flood Of LoveA Poem by TumiloveA FLOOD OF LOVE
He cracked his throat He swallowed very hard He stares as though His eyes would pop out He summoned some courage They came in diverse ways He stood as firm His tones were sweet His word like chevalier The voice was deep As he tried to be sweet He moved across Almost falling in a pit He relaxed his urge And made his way to crossed her path But her beauty strikes Like lightening While he marveled in his heart He tried to remain cool But seems like a fool Her beauty was too good It ought to be true He tried some words But they came in whispers He tried to cough To make it quicker She stares at him With her eyes in fright She glares as if The day were night She smiled and blush How nervous he was The sweats that drops A flood of love She sends quick shivers She held his arm His heart ran like a beamer Her words as soft Her beauty as tough Her eyes still shines Like the stars of a knight
She smashed silence creeping Through the mood of romance Touches his cheeks And asks him How much he loves her
He sweats made a stop But there lay a flood of love In his heart The breaths were gone He gathers few words or phrases His mind recalls He stutters, He mutters To express the words In the heart, I… love… you…. Beyond…. all… Imagination
The story ends Like a cat and dog His words were stress As he pends her response She stared, with tears How long she waited For the love to come And it stands right there, Begging to be loved
The flood of love Filled my heart The joy of a companion Puts a smile In my eyes © 2024 TumiAuthor's Note
