Writers Cafe Our Comfort Zone

A Poem by tumi
"

why don't we shun the clowns staining our white with their barbaric minds

"

WRITERS CAFÉ OUR COMFORT ZONE

With a touch of stain

Pureness was questioned

The comfort place

Now filled with terror

The honey’s sweetness dwindles

now

The lights fades

In the dark

Our comfort zone

Now a place of terror

Filled with clowns

Howling

Snorting

Now we only have to watch in horror

The heroes fled at the time of war

Living it clear for the cubs to roar

With their little teethes and tiny paws

The made themselves

Some barbaric lords

But I stand firm

With a mighty sword

To dismantle darkness

With my use of words

Wash of the stained in the walls of our home

We real writers should stand

And not flee

Raise our pens

And fight with it

Crushed the shadow of the dark

And write away the clowns

And their allies

our comfort zone now turning to a battled filled
with some barbarians and clowns drawing lines with their little hands
should we just let it be

Wow. Poignant words left to echo in the void. I appreciate you using your art to express your frustration with what I assume are trolls whose favorite past time is to mock and put down so as to raise themselves (supposedly) higher. I too cannot stand people who think it's their right or duty to stand on the necks of those they deem less than. It's sick and represents the animal in us not the evolved intellectual ape with empathy and grace. We can all do better to lift those around us up instead! Thank you for that reminder
