TWINKLES OF THE STARS

Twinkles, twinkles in the sky

Little figures shining bright

Cloned in the sky at a scary height

My mouth slightly opened in surprise

 

Twinkles, twinkles oh the stars

Moon’s children glitter as golden mines

Smiling closely at my little eyes

How I wish to get so high

 

Twinkling, twinkling on and on

Hopes of dreams dwindling at the call of dawn

Catch a star quickly from the mother’s eyes

Oh how I wish to have you by my side

 

Twinkling, twinkles of my love

Lovely sight to the short of words

Merry merrily at the beauty of the night

Lots of heart for you my love

We often gaze at the stars and feel such wonderment at their brightness and their infinitness.
