I LOVE YOU

I LOVE YOU

A Poem by Tumi
"

love poem

"

How much do I love you?

Shall I say?
“I love you
a thousand times more
than all glittering diamonds in the sky

I love you as a child’s crave
for its mother’s breast
the dizzy feeling while on the top of Mount Everest

I love you more
than the riches of King Solomon’s mines
More than the loveliest pearl
hidden deep where none can fathom

I love you, as the sweetest of treats
Your flesh much sweeter
than the honey’s sweets

You are the pounding of my heart
The breath of my life
The joy of my birth

The beauty of my life

I’ll love you all my days on earth
Till I eventually breathe the last…”
I love you, my dear
