dead happiness

dead happiness

A Poem by Tumi
"

sad

"

Dead happiness was the only thing left to embrace

With savages that erased my joy

With their mouth they killed my pride

In their eyes

Hatred all the time

With their threat they made me cower

In their hatred

I became a damaged flower

My tears remain their happiness

As their eyes threatened my life

They shudder at the meekness in my words

They made themselves my lords

Every pain pinned through my heart

Every tears I lost over the years
