RISE AGAIN

The presumption that coerces the gloom of a thousand butterflies

made her stronger at the time

given the freedom she wants

flies high with wide wings

she sang a solemn song

rejoicing in her free world

after been stuck in oppression for so long

but little did she know

tamed by the wild ones in the sky

the hawk and the sparrow

finding all means cut her wings short

poor bird

her wings her cutoff

she falls from her free world

falls to destruction

for she got herself in mud

she opens up to sing

even with the bitterness within

forgives all

despite all the pain

she rises again
