i miss when

a poem for a boy i love and miss dearly

I've been longing to see that look in your eyes for weeks now

Every day that passes when i cant gaze back at you is hell

I miss the look you used to give me when i cracked terrible jokes

And i miss the smile you gave me when i laughed at yours

I miss how when we were alone

I felt as if i could spill my deepest thoughts to you

I miss how when i was with you i saw you,the real you, not some person you pretended to be around others

I miss how your arms felt wrapped around me

I miss every single comforting hug that we shared

I miss being held

I miss feeling safe.

I still miss that look in your eyes

The one you give when you look at me… remember it?

That wasn't the same look you gave me 2 minutes ago

That wasn't the same look you gave me 2 months ago

I miss the old you.

I miss you.
