Sea Turtles

Sea Turtles

A Poem by Perry
"

poem

"
Did you sense my emergence, good beak,

egg slime clinging to sticky sand, an unformed

shell, an indifferent sun? Palatable

innards like slimy strings? Feast on my

indifferent eyes, good beak. It was mine

to be momentary.
